Benefit Concert Tomorrow Night!
Hi Everybody!
Don’t forget that Roads Coffee House is sponsoring a BENEFIT CONCERT for Team Holland 2K6!
When: Tomorrow Night, Thursday, March 23, 2006. 7:30—9PM. Where: Roads Coffee House (CBC Dungeon) Cost: $5 per ticket (proceeds to Team Holland) Who: The Matt Brouwer Band (check out http://www.independentbands.com/cd/mattbrouwer.html to listen)
This is a night of worship for our entire CBC family to get together and enjoy…however, our room only holds 200 people for a concert. So, while we sold plenty of tickets on Sunday, we cannot guarantee availability tomorrow night at the door. So, if you want to reserve a ticket, please e-mail Steve Davis at steve.davis@crossroadsbible.org ASAP.
Roads Coffee House will be open, baked goods will be on sale, and donations will be accepted (with $100 donations getting a Roads Coffee House shirt & coffee coupons!) with all proceeds going to Team Holland.
We hope you’ll all plan on coming and enjoying a unique worship experience and helping out our summer mission team…
See you there!

Getting Ready for Class Tonight
I hope you all had a great spring break and are looking to get out after being cooped up with all the rain this weekend...
...and tonight we're going to be talking about APATHY. This dictionary defines this as a "lack of feeling or emotion" and "a lack of interest or concern." We'll be taking a look at the churches in Revelation 2 and 3 so you might want to read through each one to get an overview.
Take a look at what each one did well. Take a look at what each one did poorly. Make note of what the consequences were for doing well and poorly.
And we'll see you there at 6:30PM!

Bus Update, 8:45PM
Got a call from Steve-O, and the first bus driver was a bit mistaken. Turns out the bus driver was a bit off in his prediction of time frame...
So...ahem...
The bus will arrive at CBC at around 2:30AM on Friday morning...and I'm really really really really really really really sorry for any inconvenience the earlier post may have caused you all...

Ski Trip Bus Arrival Time
I just spoke with Steve-O and everybody had a fantastic time of skiing, nobody had to go to the infirmary, and good times were had by all!
He told me that the bus drivers estimated their arrival back at CBC to be between 11:45PM Thursday (March 16) and 12:15AM tomorrow morning.
We'll see you there between those times!

Powder Hounds Of The World...
Yes, the bus leaves from CBC tonight at 10:30PM, so be there at around 10PM...and you might want to make a special effort not to miss the bus because...
Friday, March 10: 2 to 4 inches of snow predicted.
Saturday, March 11: 1 to 2 inches of snow.
Sunday, March 12: 7 to 11 inches of snow.
Monday, March 13: 4 to 6 inches of snow.
Tuesday and Wednesday will only have traces, but the temperature AT NO TIME ON THE HILL OR THE BASE, is supposed to get above freezing, so it should be amazing powder each and every morning.
Yeah…that’s going to be some good spring skiing folks!

Getting Ready for Class Tonight
Keep in mind that we'll be doing something a bit different this week! We'll have our lesson from 6:30PM to 7:05PM, do some announcements, then watch the three submissions from small groups for our short film festival!
So, for the lesson, you'll want to review Ephesians 2:10, Proverbs 22:6, and read through Ephesians 4: 1--11 and 2 Timothy 4: 1--7. Think through who you are and what you're supposed to be & do.
And, afterward, we'll have our annual Oscar watching party & chance to win the $50 AMC movie card...so bring $2 if you want to have pizza! The party will end after the Oscars, which is usually around 10:15PM.
See you there!

Deck Suburbia, Attempt 4
Okay…
I know what you’re thinking…
It doesn’t rain for 6 months and then the last three weekends we’re scheduled to build Deck Suburbia for Roads Coffee House, Flower Mound turns into Seattle weather-wise. And, yes, there’s a 20% chance this weekend, too.
But, that means there’s an 80% chance it WON’T.
So, once again…
…this weekend is where we’ll try once again to be more personal for each of you. As we put the flooring in, you can personalize some of the wood by writing on it…it’ll be there as long as the deck is! You can write your name, verses you like, artistic flair, etc. Just bring a Sharpie!
So, on Saturday,March 4, from 8:30 AM to mid-afternoon, say 2PM, (plan on coming rain or shine)…we need LOTS of teens & their parents to help. So, if you can come at all…even for an hour or so, it’d be most helpful. Here’s what to do:
E-mail Steve and let him know you’re coming. (steve.davis@crossroadsbible.org)
If you have one, bring a ½ inch drill with a Phillips bit. (You can bring your own Phillips screwdriver & hammers, too, if you got ‘em)
And we’ll see you then!
